Athletics

North County H.E.A.T. (Home Educated Athletic Team) is being put together by the Civitas Homeschool Resource Center to give middle schoolers (5th-8th graders) the opportunity to be part of a competitive athletic team. These teams play in the Coast Valley Prep League with other local private and charter schools in SLO County. See below to see what sports are offered when.

Teams are offered when we have coaches for the sports and enough participants interested. Please reach out if you would like to discuss getting a team going. Civitas HRC would love to support your student in their Athletic desires.​

Fall Sports

Girls Volleyball​
​
Girls Volleyball practices happen three times a week. When games start, two of those practices turn into games (Tuesdays and Thursdays) during the months of September-November.

Winter Sports

Girls Basketball
​
Girls Basketball practices happen four times a week for an hour and fifteen minute practice. There are then 1-2 games per week during the months of January-February.
Boys Basketball​

Boys Basketball practices happen four times a week for an hour and fifteen minute practice. There are then 1-2 games per week during the months of January-February.

Boys Volleyball practices happen three times a week for an hour and a half practice. There are then 1-2 games per week during the months of March-May.
Ultimate Frisbee​

Ultimate Frisbee is a co-ed sport. Practices happen two times a week for an hour and a half practice. There is then one game per week during the months of March-May.
